Dr. Azri obtained his BSc. (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) while MMedSc. in Pharmacology from National University of Malaysia (UKM). He completed his Phd in Pharmaceutical Science (Pharmaceutical Technology) from IIUM as well. His PhD work focused on the development of Natural Biopolymer Hydrogel Incorporated with Stingless Bee Honey for Wound Healing. His research area is in Pharmacology, focusing on animal model development, in vivo or in vitro drug testing. He is certified with International Laboratory Animal Science 2019 (FELASA Category B). He also interested in advance drug delivery research for skin treatment as well as wound healing process.
