Norazian Mohd Hassan obtained her BSc.(Hons) in Botany while MSc. and PhD with specialisation in Phytochemistry from the University of Malaya. Her research area is in phytochemistry focusing on the bioactive extracts and secondary metabolites from medicinal plants and their in vitro cultures. Presently, she is the coordinator and one of the consultants of Natural Medicinal Products Centre, Kulliyyah of Pharmacy; a centre that providing consultancy services related to medicinal plants. She teaches topics related to the botany, phytochemistry and therapeutic properties of medicinal plants in courses namely Herbal Medicine, Pharmacognosy, Cosmetics and Cosmeceuticals, and Nutraceuticals.
